I have a friend who is a faithful follower of Christ, who is a Christian and is very dear to me but struggles with satisfaction in life. I want to help her but not sure what to say because this person knows God’s word but can’t seem to find the peace He provides us. I pray each day that God will give me the words to say to help but nothing seems to come out right. What can I do to help this person?

The Legend of the Sand Dollar

Thereâ€™s a lovely little legend
that I would like to tell,
of the birth and death of Jesus,
found in this lowly shell.

If you examine closely,
youâ€™ll see that you find here,
four nail holes and a fifth one,
made by a Romanâ€™s spear.

On one side the Easter lily,
its center is the star,
that appeared unto the shepherds
and led them from afar.

The Christmas Poinsettia
etched on the other side,
reminds us of His birthday,
our happy Christmastide.

Now break the center open,
and here you will release,
the five white doves awaiting,
to spread Good Will and Peace.

This simple little symbol,
Christ left for you and me,
to help us spread His Gospel,
through all Eternity.

My constant challenge is to turn to Christ first, not after I have tried to do things the way I think is best and even as He would want them and made a bigger mess for Him to clean up. It isn’t that it is difficult for me, it is that I am a lifelong overachiever and love challenges. This is the big challenge: To let go of my pride and let HIM rightfully assume the lead role in all things and all times. When that becomes so natural that it is like taking a breath without thinking about it, it will be REAL.

Good Morning, I thank God for you all and I thank God for this post.. He always provides a way. I am so thankful to God for the many blessings he has stored upon my life and I am especially thankful for the ones yet to be revealed. Thank you Father God my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I also thank you for allowing me to be a part of the new thing you are doing, using ordinary people to do extra ordinary things and for giving me the gift,the tool,the book, “Learn the Alphabet with the Spirit” to use to edify your name and build your kingdom. Good morning all
I greet you in the name of our lord and savior jesus christ i’m feeling this post so much as i get thing or i may accomplish after i have done it i become so bore very quickly and i always wonder why this was happening to me and then i would ask myself what was wrong with me and i just thank god for this post because it is the one thing in my life i do not become bore with and that is the word of god and the bible as it renews your strenghts and renew your joy/ happiness as i have been through these time of being bored even right to the day it had contiue over and over now i realize that if i continue in gods grace i shall never have a bored or dull moment again i hope and pray for this as when i become that way it makes me very depress but thank god for jesus he have away of bringing us all out of any sitution grace unto you all amen,
