I am currently in a difficult situation and a friend gave me this link. I am waiting and feel blessed to know that God is still working in my favor. i have only to trust His ways and rely upon Him. I am waiting for my answer but in the mean time I have found others you also needs the same encouragement that I have received. Thank you for your words and reminding me that it is ok to be upset as long as I don’t sin.
Ps 118:5 – 9
I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place. The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

When these setbacks seem to come at the hands of people, it helps me to remember that my struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. That revelation typically comes as I am able to wait and reflect upon the situation.

Thank you. I am facing huge setbacks in my life and my faith seems to have been shaken. I printed this out because I will read it over and over as I have committed to surrendering to God’s will for my life and not fighting it. Your website has been a huge encouragement to me as I am at work and when I need to hear from God I usually look at your verse for the day and it meets me right where I am at. Thank you for letting God use you!
