Uzziah became king at the age of 16. His mother was Jecoliah and he was from Jerusalem. Uzziah did many great things during the first part of his rule until he became powerful and prideful. He was struck with leprosy after attempting to burn incense in the Temple, even after he was confronted by the priests. Uzziah lived the rest of his days in a separate house unable to visit the temple.
