Joined together - a Christian perspective
kpotter57 says: If somebody gets married and the are sinners does this mean they are not in gods will and if they divorce does that mean they were never in gods will or were never joined together by god are they free to re marry if they are the adultor is it not better to stay single
Judging others - a Christian perspective
txyouthmin says: I totally disagree. As Christians we are to hold each other accountable not judge each other on any level or degree, especially when it comes to our faith. Neither you nor I can fully know another Christian's heart.
Judgment is for God and God alone and any Christian who believes that they have the right to judge ANYONE Christian or otherwise needs to reread this and many other scriptures. You don't help the situation by say going up to someone and saying "You are going to burn in hell if you don't change your ways" or "God hates you because you did that"
In a day and age where we are surrounded by so much judgment and self-centeredness as followers of Christ we should always start and continuing loving others, no matter who they are or what they have done. 1st Peter 4:8-9..
How Should a Christian Respond to “Gay Marriage”? - Answers in Genesis
Jesus is coming says: We do not hate the person, but we must hate the sin. It is the spirit of the anti-christ that causes us to question God and compromise His Word.If this is acceptable, why is it spoken against in the New Testament,(and Old though many don't want to believe this is God's Word, as well. If we accept this "little sin" where do we draw the line about what we accept or don't accept in the Bible? I guess that's why Jesus said in Luke 18:6, "And the Lord said,'Listen to what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"
But I see the handwriting on the wall....Lord Jesus, have mercy!
"They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. II Thessalonians 2:10b-12

We will all be held accountable...but especially those who teach others in the faith.

"Judge not" in the Bible: Matthew 7:1-3
Frank Antonowitz says: A lot of "Christians" like to quote the first few lines but they seem to ignore verse 5.
3. "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4. How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?
5. You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
We are called to keep out brothers on the straight and narrow path, not the pagans.
When we see a Brother in Christ straying from His truth we are to quietly bring it to their attention.
If they refuse to see His truth then you escalate the attention.
