I can row into this storm right now because God's power will be the difference, not mine. So, relax. Even if you're in the middle of mission impossible right now, God is getting the solution ready. All you have to do is be available to deliver someone else's package. First Snow Faith - #6541http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-personal-power/first-snow-faith-65412012-02-06T10:46:34-05:00
Jesus made this incredible promise. He said, "If you ask anything in prayer, believe that you have received it..." Now, that's past tense. You haven't got it yet, but "believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." I have a Father who loves me and Who only says no if He's working on something that's for my good and better than I have asked for. The "Yes," the "No," and the "Wait" - #6493http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-hard-times/the-yes-the-no-and-the-wait-64932011-11-30T10:23:28-05:00
You'll one day thank your Father for the things He denied or the things He postponed for your good. Relax, let your Father drive. You'll love the destination. Worth the Wait - #6460http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-hindrances/worth-the-wait-64602011-10-17T11:16:17-05:00
Probably there's nothing that's cost more people the perfect will of God than impatience. So, don't jump to the high-speed line. Remember that the longer line may very well lead to the better view. Satisfied With Daddy's Answers - #6416http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-hard-times/satisfied-with-daddy-s-answers-64162011-08-15T09:34:15-05:00
Maybe you've prayed and you've said, "I'm not getting any answer to my prayer." Well, actually, every prayer is answered. God says, "Call unto Me and I will answer you." And He's answering; maybe not in the way you want it; not in the time that you wanted. Could you settle back in your seat and relax in the answer that He's been giving? Come When Your Name is Called - #6330http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-most-important-relationship/come-when-your-name-is-called-63302011-04-15T13:08:58-05:00
Jesus said, "No one can come to Me unless the Father draws him." And if you feel today that tug in your heart - that drawing - that's the Father making it possible for you to come to Christ. You can't even come to Christ without His help. That's why it's important to move when God is moving in your life. When It's Just Not Working - #6287http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-relationships/when-it-s-just-not-working-62872011-03-11T16:18:38-05:00
That broken relationship, and you know which one it is, is breaking God's heart. Do everything in your power to take down the walls that might be costing you the blessing of almighty God. Keep checking until you understand what is there that's broken that God says needs fixing. Quit tinkering with the problems that really aren't the problem. The problem is that we've left the orbit we were made for. It's called sin - our stubborn self-rule of a life that God was supposed to run. Unless we can get back to the One we were made for, we'll live our whole life without the answer to why I'm here, and we will die without hope. But the Bible gives us incredible hope with this announcement: "Christ suffered for our sin...to bring you safely home to God" (1 Peter 3:18 ). The Reason For the Wait - #6236http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-hard-times/the-reason-for-the-wait-62362010-12-06T11:31:16-05:00
You've been waiting for God to come through. You want to be married. You're waiting for Him to answer your prayer about having a child, raising a child. You're waiting for that job, that heart change, that breakthrough, that answer, and it hasn't come yet. Don't panic. Don't let impatience cost you the perfect will of God. Premature babies aren't as healthy as ones that are full-term. Premature solutions aren't healthy either. Short story: frequently lost or forgotten keys to evangelismhttp://internetevangelismday.com/lostkey.php2010-08-07T18:04:52-05:00
Most of us have a lost key story. In English, we sometimes use the word ‘key’ quite loosely, for instance ‘keys to improving your garden’. The implication is an optional addition to a reasonably successful effort. But with real keys, it is all or nothing. Without a key, you are powerless, stymied, stuck.
