One lifetime, no matter how long it is, is not enough to serve Christ. We only get one; use every day to the max. Look for a mountain; look for giants to fight! And let your definition of retire change. Yeah, you should retire; you should re-tire and get a new set of tires on and drive faster and farther than ever before. No way you can remove what will keep you out of heaven. Only Jesus can do that. The Trouble with the Top of the Mountain - #5895http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-hard-times/the-trouble-with-the-top-of-the-mountain-58952009-09-11T11:54:14-05:00
We're restless and we're searching because we're away from the One we were made for, and that is why Jesus came to die on a cross to absorb the eternal death penalty for every sin we've ever done. So to find forgiveness, to find peace, to find the only love that can truly satisfy your heart, you have to climb one more hill. It's that hill where Jesus died for you.
