Each day is filled with opportunities to listen, to hug, to debrief, to teach, and they'll never come again. It's true in marriage, too. Days without being close become weeks, and months, and years. And one day you wish you could have those days back. They're gone forever. The Bible says, "Make the most of every opportunity." Being Someone's Miracle - #6210http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-mission/being-someones-miracle-62102010-10-29T10:11:30-05:00
No life-changing miracle can happen unless someone cares enough about him to get him to Jesus. You know people like that, and you've been placed in their life to be God's designated bringer. It starts when you ask God for the passion of those four, through-the-roof friends, "I've got to get him to Jesus whatever it takes." How denominations are using online evangelism for gospel outreach opportunities.http://internetevangelismday.com/denomination-initiatives.php2010-08-14T08:13:42-05:00
We are highlighting on this page initiatives by a growing range of denominations so that we might recognize and promote what they are doing. (Ministry by interdenominational agencies or mission groups is covered elsewhere in this site.) If you are a member of one of these denominations, we encourage you to get involved in these web evangelism projects and support them. If your denomination is not listed here and is involved in internet evangelism initiatives, please tell us about them. Please note: inclusion of a denomination and its initiatives in this list does not necessarily constitute endorsement. Can God use me to reach people for Jesus Christ on the Internet? Article by Rusty Wrighthttp://internetevangelismday.com/article3.php2010-08-08T15:56:55-05:00
Could God use you to reach people for Christ via the Internet? The answer may surprise you!
“How could I ever use the Internet to reach people for Christ?” you might wonder. “I’m no techie. I know how to send email and read the news online, but that’s about it.” Life's Biggest Regret - #6083http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-mission/life-s-biggest-regret-60832010-05-05T16:38:02-05:00
You only have to be God's glove; Him inside you helping you to do and say what you could never do without Him. But silence? That's just not an option. Not if you want them to be in heaven with you. You know what they must know to get there. You're safe. You got out. They're still in the collapsing building. Life's biggest regret would be having to say, "I should have asked them to go with me." You still can. There's still time. Missing Those You Love - #6020http://hutchcraft.com/a-word-with-you/your-mission/missing-those-you-love-60202010-02-05T13:44:23-05:00
There are very few sadnesses deeper in life than standing by the casket of someone you could have told about Christ - you should have told about Christ - but you didn't. We can't have any of those opportunities back, but we do have the friends and neighbors and coworkers and loved ones who are still with us. And we still have time to tell them, but no one knows how much time. When it's rescue - when it's life-or-death, you drop everything, you risk everything, you do whatever it takes to bring that person out. For some people you know, you are that rescuer. The Scheme to Kill Jesus. This passage is about opportunities and whether we use them to serve or to betray! To recognize what we will do with our opportunities in life, we have to ask ourselves, whom, or what do I love? Whom, or what do I trust? Whom, or what do I serve? These are...
