Research study released into Christian use of social networking
A questionnaire-based research study into social media evangelism by Christian Vision has just been published. CV's Andrew Flynn comments, "It basically confirms that Christians are aware of the opportunity to evangelize online but need help in how to – but that they are already a lot more engaged relationally than perhaps we sometimes give credit for."

Hurricane Heroes - #6599
How much longer can we, as His Church, just keep waiting for the dying people to come to us? They're not. We have to take the life-saving Gospel of Jesus outside the walls of the life-saving station; to the street, to the office, to the plant, to the campus, the neighborhood, our service club, that nursing home, take it to the jail, take it to the gym. How can we be content any longer to sit inside our stained glass cocoon while just outside so many are dying in the storm?

Video talk on creativity by writer and comedian John Cleese
John Cleese, creative writer, actor and comedian, has produced much memorable comedy. The classic TV series Fawlty Towers (1975-9) is widely regarded as one of the best television comedies of all time. It has dated little in nearly 40 years, and is available as a remastered DVD set.
So you might think Cleese could teach us something about creativity – and you'd be right.

So the new Worldreader system which turns these phones into smartphones of a sort, with cloud storage of ebooks, all accessed via the phone signal, is quite remarkable. Free ebooks can be placed in the hands of African school students, for instance.
