Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - Hannah Montana's Nightmare - #8285 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
Life for Miley Cyrus–a.k.a., pop star, Hannah Montana–hasn’t always been as cool as it is today. In her autobiography, she describes her pre-teen years as “friendless, lonely and miserable.” She says she was “scrawny and short” and some girls she describes as “big and tough” terrorized her; locking her in a bathroom, trying to goad her into fighting them, taunting she would never amount to anything. She lived in fear most days at school. She’s a star now, so she’s not treated that way anymore, but she’s been recycling that garbage. She said, “I didn’t dare forget the struggle. There was a reason for it. I brought that girl with me, and she reminds me to be compassionate, to not hold grudges, to be supportive, to be there for others when I know I’m needed.”

Terror in the Bible - a Christian perspective
We have nothing to fear with God at our side. No person or thing can threaten us, and no spiritual power can separate us from the God who watches over us.

Whom shall I fear - a Christian perspective
With God at our side, what could possibly threaten us? Christians will face hardship in their lives, but we can rest secure that nothing and nobody is more powerful than the God who watches over us.

Garbage Where it Doesn't Belong - #5818
Bring your complaints straight to God. First, He's not going to be hurt by them. He's not going to be poisoned by them like the people around you will. Secondly, He can do something about your complaints much more than the people around you can do.

Nailing Your Colors to the Mast - #5803
Too many times, you've lowered your colors, but not anymore. Not after what Jesus has done for you. Not when somebody's eternity may depend on you telling what you know. For once, for all, you are nailing your Jesus-colors to the mast so they'll never come down again.

Fear and trembling in the Bible: Philippians 2:12-13
Paul tells the Philippians they've done an excellent job so far in working out their faith and that they should continue with fear and trembling. Fear and trembling because it is God who is driving their salvation.

The Most Off-Key Chorus Of All - #5718
He wants to help you and me handle the moments when we just want to think about ourselves. It's at those times when I'm really tired, when I'm really stressed, when I'm really not feeling good, that I have to reach beyond my feelings and say, "Dear Lord, give me the grace to still think about others when I feel like just thinking about me."

Snare in the Bible - a Christian perspective
Those who fear man will quickly find themselves caught up by those fears. However, those who trust in God, and who pay no heed to the threats of man, are kept safe.

Punishment - a Christian perspective
True love cannot be born out of a fear of punishment. Love is unconditional and incompatible with fear.

"Afraid" in the Bible: Psalm 56:3-4
Where do we turn when we're afraid? To the one person who can protect us from anything the world throws at us: God. Whenever you're afraid or intimidated, look to God for comfort and help.
