Bigger Than You Realize - #5858
Many of us feel ignored, invisible, abandoned, or betrayed by someone we thought we could trust. We start to buy lies about who we are and what we're worth. The fact is, the people who've talked about you and mistreated you have no idea who you really are. Maybe you don't either. There is only one person whose evaluation of you really matters - the person who created you in the first place.

Worth More Than You Can Imagine - #5831
Knowing how much you're really worth comes from being close to the God who gave you your worth. But we've trashed ourselves by doing things our way instead of God's way: lying, hurting others, dirtying sex, living selfishly. Our sin has separated us from the One who made us. But then Jesus came. He showed how much we matter to God.

The Setting Without the Stones - #5813
If you've never been to that cross where Jesus died for every wrong thing you've ever done, I want to invite you to join the millions of women over the centuries who have found in Jesus Christ the love they have looked for their whole life. He is the one person with whom you are totally safe, whom you can totally trust, who knows all about you and takes you just as you are and loves you just as you are but doesn't leave you there.

Level Ground - #5808
The culture of money and power and fashion and social groupings is supposed to stop at the door of the Church of Jesus Christ. I hope it does at yours. None of that stuff matters to Jesus. The world has its "power elite" and its "insiders and outsiders." Don't let that cancer infect your church.

The Reason For the Heat - #5776
God may be using the fire right now to get you to examine some corners of your heart or of your life that you've never really surrendered fully to His Lordship. He may use the oven to show you junk you've accumulated that has to go before He can take you to the next level. He wants to enlarge your view of Him and to prepare you for greater things.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - No Castaways - #5691 | Your Personal Power | A Word With You
That's the kind of anchor love that your heart is so ready for, a kind of dependable love that you may have almost given up on, but a love that's guaranteed by the man who loved you enough to die for you.

Humility in the Bible: Philippians 2:1-11
Christians are called to imitate Jesus Christ--and one of Jesus' most defining characteristics was his humility. He never failed to put the needs of others before his own needs, even going so far as to lay down his life for others. If Jesus didn't hesitate to serve others at his own expense, why should Christians today do any differently?

Humility in the Bible: 1 Peter 5:5
The Bible famously promises that "the last shall be first"--and throughout Scripture it is clear that God places great value on traits that human society doesn't. In fact, God actively works on behalf of the meek and lowly. That is especially clear in this reminder that in God's eyes, the humble will be honored over the lofty and proud.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - The Secret of Winning the Big Game - #9197 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
It’s almost here—Super Bowl Sunday! Water departments in major cities have reported they can tell when the commercials come on; the water pressure suddenly drops dramatically and simultaneously—millions of people taking a bathroom break at the same time—a lot of people watching. I hope it’s a thriller like last year. Of course, last year my team won—the New York Giants. Tom Coughlin, the coach, explained why he thought his underdog team upset the almost unbeatable New England Patriots. He said, “These guys took their names off their jerseys and left their egos at the locker room door.”

Devotional : Humility and Thankfulness
Humility and thankfulness are very important qualities for Christians to exhibit. Our self-centered culture and society are not conducive to being thankful and humble, so how do we effectively demonstrate these qualities daily? Passages from Paul, Peter and James provide the answer.
