Right Words, Wrong Heart - #5783
If there's been more than one you, the Christian you and then the other guys, maybe you're tired of playing charades spiritually, you're tired of the performance, you're tired of the mask. It's time to say, "Jesus, I've been saying all the right words, but You know how hollow it all is really and now so do I. I just want to love You and want to know You for real. I want this to be all about a Christ-relationship, not the Christian religion."

Missing Him - #5769
As God gives you opportunity, remind them of how it was when they were close to Him. Maybe you're away from Him. Satan would love to keep your focus on the Christians who hurt you, or the hypocrites who turned you off, or the sin that's taken you away. But it's not Christians you''ve left or church or some religious rules, it's Jesus you've left! Remember how it felt when you were close to Him? Don't you miss Him?

Your Total Upgrade - #5744
Now that Christ is in your life, He wants to install some new attitudes about who you are, who He is, who you can be because you belong to Jesus. He wants to enable you to see your family as He sees them, the problem people in your life as He sees them, and the events of your life as He sees them.

An Answering Person Or An Answering Machine? - #5722
I hope you don't lose that beautiful characteristic of your Master. I would call it a breakable heart. Sometime this week, you will almost surely encounter someone who is wounded or without Christ. Will you excuse yourself because you're busy in a lot of Christian activity - your answering machines? Or will you stop and be the answer with a loving, personal, above-and-beyond response?

Integrity in the Bible: Titus 2:6-8
What does it mean to live with integrity? According to this passage, it means living your life in such a way that nobody can find fault with what you do or say; everything you do and say is honest, sincere, and excellent. Christians can expect to be criticized for their faith, but their behavior should not provide any additional excuses for critique.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - What Brought Down a Big Plane - #8222 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
Here’s a strange headline: “Birds bring down plane.” But that’s exactly what happened to US Air Flight 1549 out of New York—the plane that had to ditch in the Hudson River with 155 people aboard. Some geese flew into the plane’s engines, and it started going down. Something relatively small had the power to bring down something that big. That’s true for planes; that’s true for people.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - The Trouble With Being a Winner - #8211 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
Chuck Colson knows about abusing power and paying for it. He spent time in prison for his corruption-related activities in the Nixon administration. He said the Governor of Illinois had the same cancer that has brought down so many successful people. Colson called it the "spiritual cancer" of pride.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - The Secret of Winning the Big Game - #9197 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
It’s almost here—Super Bowl Sunday! Water departments in major cities have reported they can tell when the commercials come on; the water pressure suddenly drops dramatically and simultaneously—millions of people taking a bathroom break at the same time—a lot of people watching. I hope it’s a thriller like last year. Of course, last year my team won—the New York Giants. Tom Coughlin, the coach, explained why he thought his underdog team upset the almost unbeatable New England Patriots. He said, “These guys took their names off their jerseys and left their egos at the locker room door.”

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries, Inc. - When Trust Takes a Hit - #9190 | Radio Program | A Life That Matters
It is getting crazier out there—the governor of a major state trying to sell a senate seat to the highest bidder…one of the most trusted financial leaders on Wall Street has been involved in schemes that are costing investors millions of dollars! It’s getting harder and harder to know who you can trust politically, financially. It’s not fair to cast a cloud over whole categories of people because of some bad apples, but it’s really getting tougher to know who you can trust.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - A Transformed Heart
You know who you want to be and who people need for you to be, but you're not anywhere close to that person. It's difficult to close the gap between the two. ... When you can admit that, it is the first step to a new you. Behind your mask of having it together, is a man or woman addicted to selfishness, or unfaithfulness, or depression, or an out-of-control temper, or sexual appetite, or a bad habit. Maybe you have tried reforming, but it hasn't worked.
