Den of thieves - a Christian perspective
Jesus was outraged to see people setting up shop in God's temple, selling things to the people who came to worship. He accused the moneychangers and merchants there of turning the temple into a den of robbers.

Money changers in the Bible: John 2:14-16
Jesus expelled the money changers from the Temple courts along with all those that were selling livestock. He drove the money changers out with a whip he made out of cords saying, "How dare you turn my father's house into a market!"
