Age of accountability - a Christian perspective
The Bible never gives an explicit indication that there is such a thing as the age of accountability--the age at which a child is responsible for their faith; however, we're given indications throughout that God has a plan and a purpose for every child. It seems cruel and not in keeping with God's especial declarations concerning children to think that just because a child died before personally professing their faith they would be condemned.

Proof in the Bible - a Christian perspective
Why should we believe that Christ will uphold his promise to return one day? The fact that he rose from the dead, in perfect fulfillment of prophecy, is proof enough that he can be trusted to do what he promises.

Estonian A Temple Leader Visits Jesus
Estonian: Jesus drives the moneychangers out of the Temple which is a house of prayer. Jesus tells Nicodemus he must be born again. Nicodemus asks how an old man can be born a second time. Jesus says that the spirit must be born from above. This happens when a person believes in Jesus.

Resurrection power - a Christian perspective
It's the ultimate goal of every Christian to experience the power of Jesus' resurrection. His resurrection represents a complete conquering of death and sin. When we give our lives to Christ, we become recipients of that power.

Third day in the Bible: 1 Corinthians 15:3-5
Jesus' death was followed three days later by his resurrection. If Jesus' hadn't risen on the third day, his death would have no spiritual significance for us--but he did rise, and with that resurrection offers us complete forgiveness of our sins.

"He has risen" in the Bible: Matthew 28:5-7
The angel here delivers the best news in all of history: Christ has risen! Jesus was no longer in the tomb, but had already risen from the dead. The angel sent the women to alert the disciples to Jesus' resurrection.

Rose from the dead in the Bible - a Christian perspective
Peter told all who were gathered at Cornelius' house that Jesus rose from the dead after three days. He was resurrected by God and appeared to the preselected witnesses. Jesus told them to preach the message that he was the one appointed judge of the living and the dead.
