Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - When You Don't Have Your Birth Certificate - #4454
There's a conscious, deliberate choice that begins your God-relationship - what our word for today calls "receiving" Jesus Christ, "believing" in Him. It's describing a moment when you consciously open up your heart for Jesus Christ to come in - when you tell Him you are putting your total trust in Him to remove the wall of sin between you and God and give you that relationship with Him.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The One Step We Miss - #4439
I asked this young woman, who really wanted to know Jesus but could never seem to get the relationship off the ground, this question: "Have you ever told the Lord you are really sorry for your sin and you're ready to change?" She had said yes to Jesus - but she'd missed an important ingredient in turning to God - saying no to sin

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Strange Words For a New Mom - #4423
Following the Jewish custom, Mary and Joseph brought their baby boy to the temple to be circumcised, just eight days after that first Christmas. God had someone waiting for them there - an old man named Simeon who had been told by the Holy Spirit that he would not die until he had seen the One he called "the Lord's Christ." He actually held the baby in his arms and praised God for sending Him.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Your Final Payment - #4429
According to the Bible, there is still one more bill to pay after the funeral - it's the payment for all those me-first life choices that the Bible calls "sin." In God's words, "Man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment" (Hebrews 9:27). The payment for running our own lives is an eternal payment. But like that final payment for your funeral expenses, you can do something now to take care of that awful obligation once and for all.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Homeless No More - #4419
It's possible to be living in a mansion this Christmas, and yet to be homeless - in your heart. In our hearts, there is this homing instinct that keeps us looking for a love that will fill the hole in our heart, a relationship that will give us one safe and secure place in a lonely and disappointing world. But our lives are littered with the temporary "boxes" that we hoped would give our heart a home but never did.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Trading Empty For Full - #4303
Not a bad deal. I gave my friend what was empty and he replaced it with what was full. Just like Jesus. I handed him a life that was pretty empty, and He gave me back a life that is amazingly full. He's done that for countless people, and He would love to do that for you.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - The Most Agonizing Race Of All - #4309
Champions hit the wall and they keep on running to the finish line - no matter how much they want to give it up. Finishing your race takes everything you've got and more. Even if you're the Son of God. Especially if you're the Son of God.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Your Answer - #4312
There's someone who loves you very much, who has dramatically declared His love for you, and whose offer of a lifelong relationship requires an answer. He is the One who said in Revelation 3:20, our word for today from the Word of God, "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in..." And while that invitation was initially addressed to some people who already belonged to Jesus, it's a powerful picture of His offer of His love to those who have never even begun a personal relationship with Him. Maybe you.

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Go When The Gate Is Open - #4314
That's what I learned real fast when I saw that the gate guarding the road didn't stay open forever. Tragically, it's something many people never realize about God's road to heaven - the gate isn't always going to be open. You have to go in when the gate is open. That's why God warns us in Isaiah 55:6, our word for today from the Word of God, to "seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near."

Ron Hutchcraft Ministries - Mission Accomplished - #4317
Some day you'll be heading home. Your time on earth will be over at a time set by your Commander-in-Chief, Jesus Christ. Will He be flying that banner for you when you reach home? Will He say, "Mission accomplished?" In many ways, that is the ultimate measure of whether your life was a success or not.
